Soooooooo..... by holding people accountable for having casual sex are you suggesting that A) we make abortion illegal so that women who have sex are forced to breed if they have an unplanned pregnancy, or B) we get rid of wic and welfare so we have children starving to death on the streets, or C) all of the above?

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with casual sex (some people prefer monogamy, some don’t, both decisions are perfectly acceptable/valid life choices). If you’re against casual sex, don’t have it. It’s that simple.

Ummmm.... comprehensive sex ed includes the risks associated with unprotected sex (IE unwanted pregnancy and spread of STDs). So I’m not sure what your point is there... Further, there is no such thing as “safe” drunk driving, you’re comparing apples to groundhogs.

That’s a problem with over-prescribing and not properly educating people on what they’re taking (I find it shocking it didn’t say take one every x hours as needed). Forcing someone with chronic illness to go to the pharmacist an extra 3 times per month isn’t going to solve that problem.

Because it’s so easy and convenient for people with chronic issues to go to the pharmacist an extra 3 times per month.....

Ha! Good luck getting a man to go to the doctor for a runny nose!

All you can do is give people the knowledge and tools necessary to make the best decisions, and the evidence shows that this is incredibly effective. You can look to Mississippi with the highest teen pregnancy and STD rate in the country and their, you guessed it, abstinence only &/or abstinencePlus sex ed programs

Kill “hookup culture”? No. You want to reduce abortions, increase access to contraceptive and education about safe sex/family planning. Unfortunately, the same people who are obsessed with forcing squatters rights on my uterus, are the same people who think sex ed should be abstinence only and planned parenthood

I can’t argue with your logic, but there is definitely something in between regulation gone wild and what we have now. Something simple, streamlined, and well thought out on the federal level could keep the overbearing states from getting out of hand, while improving the overall situation nationally. People are stupid

OMG what a pain! If someone can sell at auction in a batch, you’d think there’d be a more sensible way for the buyer to collect. Though, I guess if there was, some element would find a way to take advantage of auction sales.

NYS gun laws are far from perfect (many of them are poorly thought out, ineffective nonsense. I sometimes wonder if we’re supposed to be a great “slippery slope” example), but that doesn’t mean the entire concept of permits is bad. It’s supposed to be a “well regulated” militia, I don’t see how safety classes and

I wish they’d just actually research this shit before trying to come up with solutions.

Cars, as per usual are a bad example. You need a license to drive a car, the license is only given if you’ve already proven you have a general understanding of the laws of the road and can operate it with reasonable safety.

NY. Came with that joke that was the Safe Act. Honestly, let me put on my tin hat for a moment, makes me think NY is trying to prove the “slippery slope” argument so many gun nuts love. We already had some of the best regulations in the country and they were like “hey, lets sneak in some poorly planned nonsense in the

Except a registry would make it easier to track down people who are selling guns to criminals. I’m a gun owner myself, it took me 6 months, fingerprinting ($100), an 8hr safety class ($60), and 3 character references to get my pistol permit (pistol is registered to my permit), and I thought the only part of it all

Yes, but the prices would skyrocket if there was no public option. People don’t HAVE to buy bottled water or have culligan installed in their homes, so the price can only go so high.

I don’t get it. Every once in a while, my number gets out there and I get a bunch of calls for a couple of weeks. I report them all to the FCC online, and eventually they stop coming in. Last time I was inundated was after a vacation, so I’m guessing one/several of the hotels or restaurants sold my number.

It happens. Probably eating the wrong stuff. I kept gaining wait and kept slowly reducing the amount of food I was eating thinking I was eating too much, then felt like crap all the time. Started keeping track on an app, was getting way too few calories, but what I was eating was a lot of sugar and fat (fruit and

Yea, I tend to make milkshakes at home because then you see how much ice cream it actually takes to make one. It’s soooooo much more than you would ever sit down and eat with a spoon.

I hate this. I know it’s the right thing, but I hate it. Why does my incredibly occasional guilty pleasure need to be triply guilty because other people don’t know how to cook at home!?!?!?
