I also played Fusion, and I still felt like Other M was kinda crap because Fusion had a lot of Other M's ideas about Samus's character and her relationship with Adam yet executed them a lot better than Other M did.

Team Ninja was mostly there for gameplay and putting things together from the blueprints laid out by Nintendo's Yoshio Sakamoto.
