Well, that’s not totally fair. Zinc/titanium oxide sunscreens are often better at preventing burns than avobenzone/oxybenzone sunscreens.

You know, the kid gets a booboo, you either kiss it to make it better or you fly him to an intensive care facility in another state. Same difference.

Unfortunately not true, ALL sunscreen needs to be reapplies (a shot glass’s worth for the body) after 2 hours of sun exposure.

Although it sounds like the result of some freaked-out parent being annoying, these sunburns are legitimately terrible.
