well deserved. They're making some great cars these days.

Solution?

Somebody help me out here, because I really don't know. Why can't they cover the sides of these things with sheets of rubber? It doesn't seem like it would have any detrimental effect, but it would have several positives.

anyone talking shit about the successful landing of a 747 with asymmetrical landing gear is fucking crazy. I didn't know they could land without one side and not have the wingtip dip. Obviously a design consideration. But, before anyone just says everything performed as expected - that wing is very very low and I'm

$9B lost on the bailout? That's nothing compared to how much gets pissed away on defense programs that go nowhere. At least we got the Hellcat and C7 out of it...

Still hard to know for sure and GM's shitty timing with their recalls certainly does make this look worse, but, c'mon, that $9.26 billion is nothing. We're going to spend upwards of $1.5 trillion on the Joint Strike Fighter program, which is like $500 billion overbudget.

Others have estimated fewer job losses connected with a failure of GM and Chrysler. The biggest unknown remains if — and how long — it would have taken surviving automakers like Ford Motor Co. and other foreign firms to make up the lost production from GM and Chrysler. Ford did not take a government bailout.

Kudos to the pilot for handling that. I'm no pilot and I don't know how hard or easy that was, but that can be a tragedy in the wrong hands.

I am very happy with the sedan. However, I know that there were a lot of potential buyers waiting for the hatch. I hope it comes along though, you can never have enough ~300 hp manual hatches in the world.

I'd almost put money on it coming during a mid-cycle refresh along with the direct injection STI that everyone is waiting for.

No WRX hatch with the redesign.

almost bought one yeeeeears ago. Flew all the way to Kentucky from Texas just to have the "cross country road trip ready" 7mgte chug into nothing. Then I got a WRX that hands me 420 tq all day for the past 3 years

Youve got it wrong, the best way to make a MK III reliable is dump the 7MGTE and put in a 2JZGTE. Coming from someone who spent $5,000 building a 7MGTE, to sell it off at a huge loss with zero run time because I just was done with them and put in a VVTI 2JZGTE.
