Neutral: I live in Metro Detroit, but work in downtown Detroit and the biggest hindrance that I see for EVs are the lack of charging stations. In the parking structure where I park there’s only 10-15 spots with chargers on the first level closest to the entrance/exit and they are all full of PHEVs, and non plug in

I would have voted NP, but I found out that the person who bought this paid less than a grand, and is flipping it for like 4x what they bought it for. It was on a Michigan Volvo owners Facebook group a couple months back.

As long as wagons and hatchbacks are still around, I personally won’t buy an SUV or crossover. However my wife is all about the “crossover life” and I don’t mind having one larger vehicle. As long as it’s not my daily driver.

Exactly what I did! I sold my 2011 WRX 5dr after owning it for five years and put the cash from the sale down on a used low mileage 15 Volvo V60 T6 R-Design. It’s a little bigger, but still fun to drive and quick enough to not be a complete bore to drive every day. Actually it’s better because, it’s a total sleeper

For upcoming daddy duty I sold my 2011 WRX 5dr and bought a 15' Volvo V60 T6 R-Design. I’ve been very happy with it overall. I just wish the V60 was a little bit bigger.

I’ll definitely be looking at used V9os in 4-5 years.

What’s really odd to me living in Metro Detroit is that I hardly see a ZJ GC on the road, but I see a crap ton of XJs.

Definitely a good point. It totally makes sense to not want to risk losing the payout in the event of an accident occurring before. This person has like four cars and I don’t even think it’s his daily driver lol.

I know someone who has a tuned Jetta Sportwagen TDI and is going to keep it right until the deadline and then make a decision to take the buy back ($12k) or not.

Which I think is the best option at this point. Keep driving the car now and enjoy it since the buy back amount isn’t changing and then decide whether to

I used to ride a Ninja ZX6R prior to switching to a dual sport, so compared to that, yes the DRZ400S is a lot slower.

I’m not saying it’s not fun though because it definitely is fun to ride around on. In fact, I have more fun riding the DRZ on and off road than I did riding the Ninja, but riding that gives you a

The Grom? I’ve read varying top speeds. Some saying it’s only 55mph and others claiming just over 100mph. Either way, it’s going to take a long time to reach those speeds on a 125cc bike.

I think the Grom is cool especially as an alternative to a scooter/moped, but other than riding it around on streets/roads that have lower speed limits, I wouldn’t attempt to ride it anywhere else.

I feel like I have to fight traffic on a 45mph road where I live riding my DRZ 400S. And even that feels “slow” to me

IF I were to get a sedan, I’d probably spend the extra 2-3k and get a new Taurus SHO. I’ll take two turbos with my V6, please and thanks.

That’s funny. I did the very same thing remotely on a 15 Volvo V60 T6 R-Design form a Volvo dealer. I just didn’t do the financing through them as I already had an unsecured auto-loan with cash already deposited into my checking account so all I had to do was write them a check and sign some paper work when I arrived

Michelin Cross AC-10. They’re street legal nobbies basically. So they don’t have the greatest traction on pavement anyways, but I did notice reduced traction in colder weather.

But I had a street bike (Ninja 650R) prior and also noticed reduced traction in colder weather as well.

50 degrees is about the lowest I’ll ride, and even then, I don’t like my head/neck and hands freezing. How safe is it riding in colder temperatures with street tires? That’s the other issue I see being more of an issue personally.

When I ride my bike when it’s 50 degrees compared to 60 or 70, I notice that I lose a

The new X1 is more of a crossover still built off of a car platform. The previous gen X1 was literally a lifted 1 series hatchback though so I don’t care how BMW marketed it, it was still a car.

Yeah I guess if the local PD departments use Chargers. Definitely good point though.

Depends on where you live, but my answer would be a Dodge Charger R/T and remove the R/T badge. That way you’ll blend in with the masses, but have some power in case the person you’re tailing should discover you and try and lose you....

As a former 11' WRX 5DR owner, I really want to recommend the Forester to my wife who prefers SUVs, but I won’t unless we can get a good deal on an XT.

CP. Too many issues, and it’s not a “full” STI swap. If it was a full STI swap, then maybe....
