Oh is that a campaign mode?

Lower the ride height and lower the overall height, and you have the small fast wagon that I’m waiting for. I could even consider overlooking the automatic.
If Starbucks would just lower their drive-thru windows by six goddamn inches nobody would need a crossover.
Tom, you wrote about the perfect car earlier this month (and I snagged one myself). The Chevrolet SS. With the rebate, it checks all the boxes.
So...hear me out for a second.....you need this car temporarily. Maybe 4-6 years? A nice, safe, reliable family hauler that is kids-first, dad second? You also have a second vehicle for your fun, long distance trips?
Keeping it until close to September 2018 was my initial thought, too, but my SoCal commute can be pretty hairy. No matter how conservatively I drive, there’s always a white-knuckle, lay-on-the-horn-please-don’t-merge-into-me moment about once a week or so. Decimated insurable value plus the failure-prone expensive…
I’m with you there. I had a DR200, always felt tense riding it just to keep up with traffic. My XR650L is much more relaxing.
When I commuted by motorcycle, it was always my hands that gave me problems in the cold. I could never find a solution to keep my hands warm without being so thick that I couldn’t operate the controls. Everything else was fine, even in the 20's on the Ohio turnpike.
Honestly, buy whatever’s most common in your area in an unremarkable color.
Here’s the issue for me...
The actual engine is not technically old... it’s the FB25 that was new in the Forrester in 2013.
Build the wall and they might start...
so true,that..
GM had a monster day today!
Sebring was eating cars left and right this year.
Turbo 6?
We have to at least ask.
I get what you’re saying, some cars have specific traits because of their engines and shouldn’t be swapped.
Nope. Suzuki USA made the same last ditch mistake. They thought a mainstream sedan could keep the company on life support. Nobody bought the Kizashi. You cannot go head to head with the big boys when you are a niche player. You gotta go niche.
I support Buick. They are good cars in their class. I’m not a coupon value shopper, but also not a brand whore that needs an Audi badge on a crappy Jetta.
