Four more words: Sell Buicks in China.

Oh boy, that didn't work out so well last time...

Some 5 MPH bumpers would've saved the day.

He was just demonstrating how to properly say the car's name... "I-BENT-a-DOOR"

This car is begging for an LNF swap.

Had they pulled a boosted Ecotec out of a GXP or Redline, it could have pulled 10k. Maybe. As it is... you'd have to absolutely want to be buried in the car to justify the price.

Sad dash is sad...

Considering the potential impact to the economy had GM gone dark, I'd say it was a pretty good call.

You would have said goodbye to the US as a first world country and be owned by the Chinese now. The money 'lost' isn't really all that much as a whole.

If they didn't GM would have died and most the US automotive supply chain with it. There was zero credit available at the time. Fucking GE paper was not getting bought.

We shouldn't have let them die, but we should have done something other than give the company to the UAW and completely fuck over the bondholders. The union's defined benefit plan (I know, it was promised to them back in the 70s) was really what prevented GM from restructuring itself into profitability without

Neutral:

If GM was allowed to go under the ripple effect would be huge and result in a much larger cash outlay: parts suppliers would quickly go under and ford's precarious position probably couldn't have held. Many, many, many jobs would have been lost resulting in a huge loss of tax revenue.

I know the GM/Chrysler bailout was necessary otherwise it would have reeked havoc on our economy and job market, but its easy for the Gov't to just "lose" money when its our money they are losing.

clearly this porsche:

Personally, couldn't go without AWD. Too much time on snow, dirt, gravel, etc. Either way, never settle!

Judging by past years, not for another 6 years. The 2011 WRXs (the first year they started looking good) are still fetching around $20k for a 4 year-old, , 60k mile, beaten-to-snot model. If you want a 2006 Limited, those are still around $15k with anywhere from 60k-100k miles

So..he Czech'd himself before he wrecked himself.

This alone is the single biggest reason why the U.S should not abandon the A-10 Warthog. This column doesn't look as intimidating when you're behind the GAU-8 Avenger. No modern fighter could bring the as whooping fight to this kind of battle like the A-10 can.

No, you're right... the Wrangler still comes in a stick. I sometimes (admittedly inconsistently) fail to consider the Wrangler as an SUV (which it is) and put it into its own category in my mind.
