Well at least you were towing at the max limit, which I believe is actually 1,500lbs and not 1,000lbs like I previously said. As long as you don’t do it that frequently which sounds like you didn’t then that’s a good thing.

Best feeling in the world!
Can you? Yeah. Should you? Probably not.
You can’t plug a tire that’s had its sidewall blown out. A proper spare would still be needed in that case.
I agree with you. I just sold my ‘11 WRX 5dr which I owned for five years. It was a great car, but I outgrew it and longed for something that was more sophisticated.
You should still test drive the RS. Someone that I know just got an RS and had an ST previously and said they aren’t even comparable when it comes down to the driving dynamics, despite being the same car.
Preach the good word (about snow tires)!
It’s funny that you mention this. Obviously the Raptor is more expensive than the RS, especially when you consider that you can get a base RS for just under $40k But a loaded RS gets pretty close to a base Raptor and I too would rather have the Raptor.
It’s not required in the US like it is in Europe or other countries. I agree that it’s stupid not to have snow tires in the winter if where you live receives regular snow fall during the winter months is madness. Because ‘Murica...
You should still be swapping snow tires on an AWD vehicle too. The Golf R comes with summer performance tires standard so they would need to be swapped with snow tires in a region that gets snow.
If money wasn’t a factor, I’d argue that an E63 AMG Wagon would be the only thing that would beat the RS when it comes to the fun factor, speed and practicality.
Was reading to see if someone already caught this.
The rental companies in Vegas run deals where you can rent a “pristine” exotic for around that price. I know someone who recently paid $695 to rent a 650S for a day.
This really happens unfortunately. A truck driver did this to my grandfather who was driving a Geo Metro and pushed him and his car for like 3 miles before another driver was able to get the truck driver’s attention to finally stop. My grandfather physically was completely fine although it must have been a pretty…
That’s ok! I just realized I suggested a Volvo as a replacement to a Saab enthusiast! :-)
Yeah you can’t beat that experience!
Sounds spot on.
Might have been the same one then! I agree! It turned my head when I saw the long roof!
There’s still unsold 15.5 model years going for a discount. The T6-Rs used with low miles can be hand in the $30-$40k.
They did! But there’s still unsold 15.5 model yearV60 Polestars as well as a few T6 R-Designs that still have the turbo 3.0L inline 6.
I was hoping the unsold V60 Polestars would come down in price. But the cheapest I’ve seen a new one discounted is around $55k.
