I came to this story by way of a link in an old Davey G. Johnson piece. It’s been years since I’ve left a comment here on the Jalop...despite being, for a short while, the comment administrator.

You have obviously never been to the Dragon...

I guess this is what Gawker Media’s “Senior Week” is all about?

As much as I cannot stand the man, I will say that I have seen Trump in a church first hand. Sat next to him and Marla Maples years ago at Marble Collegiate (Dutch Reformed) in NYC. He offered me a Lifesaver off of her stockinged knee. True story.

As Chapman’s “four-wheeled motorbike”, any Seven, whether my old Caterham or my current vintage Lotus, is going to be toast in anything but the most minor accident. I’ve just sort of accepted that fact. So I’d NEVER take a baby in one.

Matt, welcome to automotive-dad-dom.

IMO, the questioner undermines her position/cause by ending with a cheap shot “I think you’re full of $hit.”

“We don’t all have assistants.”

This is not so much a diet as a lifestyle change...so all the folks complaining about “not another diet” can pipe down. I’ve done something similar and it does tend to keep one’s weight down/help you lose weight...but I have to say that when I reintroduced meat, I felt like I had more energy and people noticed that as

"I thought I caught I like six times, but it wasn't to be."

Is anyone editing/proofing over there?

I would say that Winona Ryder has aged very very gracefully. And there are plenty of others.

I'm with you on the unfriending of Fox propaganda spewers...

To clarify, the NY Mag piece is the one I didn't think was great.

I didn't find the article all that great. It had just enough detail to get people talking, but lacked real meat, IMO.

Just in case anyone thinks that Jalopnik had not been to the Dragon before:

For some reason I was expecting more from this article.

This is an extremely poor use of your bully pulpit, gentlemen.

Her job (as I understand that of a school bus monitor) is to ensure that kids don't bully other kids or do anything against school rules. When a pack of teens turns on a senior citizen, that's something "above her pay grade", IMO.

I think you dug yourself a hole with the "it was her job" part. I'm pretty sure "humiliation and verbal abuse" was not in her job description.
