So I think your car would likely be a crackpipe for 3k. That is a 30 year old vehicle. If you got more than 500 to junk it I would be surprised. Although it could be a desirable collectors car? Maybe that way you might get 3k out of it. But since you only purchased for 7k, I doubt it. However if it's running and you

Can confirm as an owner of a Volt that most of us pretty fanatical about it. I think mostly because it’s pretty unique in a lot of ways. And is a really solidly built car. Some of, if not e theGthe best engineeringhengineering GMeGM hasdhas ever done. Wow Kinja really fd up that last sentence. Like gms electric

Just, you know, ask permission before you go sticking things in tailpipes.

Who are all these people? You only put out like 4 articles a day. :P

A little too Hot Wheels...

Anything that gives me more Metamorpho I'm down for lol. Such an underrated character. And he'll be too complex to cgi, so will never see him in the DC tv verse. But we got a small dose of him on Young Justice, so that's something.

I mean, you have the Audi e-Tron GT and Tesla Roadster coming *eventually*. But they’re both premium/expensive. The polestar 1 starts at 150k. So if Kia could lean into the cheap, fun, and cool looking a la vintage Honda or Miata style... I think you’re right, it would be a unique vehicle in the market.

On the road by the end of 2024 with 100 miles of range!

Honda has stated that this was always meant to be an urban runabout vehicle. Range isn’t nearly as big of an issue in Europe as it is in the US. The range is likely to be around or under 100 in real world conditions. That's a nonstarter for a majority of Americans. No market.

Volt is far and away the best plug in hybrid. Excepting maybe the Pacifica, but that's a different animal. Reliable, easy to go weeks if not months without using gas. Lots of fun owners groups. We get pretty fanatical about them after a while!

I used to always be a polite and deferential driver towards semis. I still try to be polite, but so many drivers seem to just be your regular assholes in big rigs. And it seems like they don't communicate with each other.

Well if they sold them in all 50 states, maybe more people would know about them?

Not electric or hybrid, so what's the point? Mazda is behind a curve they should have been in front of.

Etymology nerd here. So, latin meo can mean to go or to pass. Meata would be something like... she has passed, she has gone. Which would be pretty cool.

If they didn’t change too much from the concept and made it electric...

And charge 75,000 for it!

Dropped can have several meanings. Wasn't sure if you meant unveiled or dropped from production/lineup...

I have a Volt. The 30-50 mile range I get per day is usually sufficient to meet my needs. I charge every night. About once a month I drive pretty far for work, around 200 miles. And the gas engine meets my need there. To go pure electric I'd want something in the 250-300 mile range, access to a fast charging network,

When will they make an all electric or hybrid version? Diesel for passenger cars is dead. Who greenlit this waste of money and resources? How many millions of dollars is Mazda going to lose?

I really wish they would just make an all electric mustang, not this "inspired" cuv they'll be releasing.
