Man I wish I were rich enough to buy a Taycan. Dream car.

I think it’s a clever way to get nontraditional viewers in the seats, while still playing to an old, well understood trope, that won’t turn away traditional viewers. It gives Venom a unique story among the superhero genre, which I feel like reflects the comics well.

Could it be that they’re bland and ugly?

John Cena = money. Is what I'm guessing the idea behind it is.

Studios still attach too much importance to name recognition for directors. And it isn’t wholly misplaced either. Average Joe hears Zach Snyder and goes, that’s a name I’ve heard who’s made some famous movies, this one must be pretty good. Unfortunately famous does not always equate to good.

I like Independence Day Resurgence.

I would love to see an anthology style arc. 8-13 episodes each focusing on sequential avatars as the overarching story builds up to a major event. Like the disappearance of the Lion Turtles.

How good is Superman and Lois?!? How is DC not funding this?! Even the cinematography has been gorgeous!

The Materbator!! What a classic!

I did wonder about Luca, but it seemed Pixar or Disney or (based off the directors interview you guys did) really really really wanted to make it 1000% clear that it was on no way queer at all. Sigh.

I wanted to like it a little more than I did. There's a lot of cool stuff to explore with the character. And I think the main actor is good. But you felt the budget restraints from the pilot.

I think in this situation you have to account for the fact that gasoline IS nearly a public utility. And so that decision has impacts FAR beyond that company’s bottom line. Better to have let it run (if possible) and then had some forensic accountants paid for by the feds, since it would have been the entity to order

Oooooh. That makes sense. Because he was a little too on the nose with sussing out her accent. But who would the woman BE? The girl who died without hope maybe?

Krasinski can get buff and Blunts a fabulous actress. Their chemistry would probably come across the screen well.

Plugging along. They had a demo not too long ago of their prototype and a factory tour. Sounds like they'll have trucks shipping by beginning of next year. Of course that could always turn into a continuously moving deadline. But I really hope they succeed.

I mean, Venom got released in February and was an unexpected hit.

That was my other guess. That she turns into a werewolf or monster thing at night or something. And so they fakes her death and his her.

I suspect Ms. True's origin story has something to do with Lord whatshisnames daughter "dying". The real Amalia died maybe and the girl kind of took over her body maybe?

I don't think people were comparing it to CMBYN. They were just able to connect with the subtext that was clearly there. And while the director focused on that young friendship angle, the relationship and the story notes explored in the trailer definitely reflected some of the puppy love aspects that they're

Pennyfellow? Fellow something I think at least? Anywho I appreciate Norton's willingness to flesh out his role. But I hope he and Augie do some smoochy smoochy even though they're obviously setting up him and the inventor lady.
