My advice is multiple pairs, wash q 2-4 weeks. Unless you're in the shop and they're getting filthy, the jeans should be fine. Odor can get you, just that weird musty smell I feel is unique to denim. Dryer sheets or something similar should keep them fresh. Or you could always go the freezer route :p
