Yeah, the no AC thing makes no sense to us here. The only people who don't have central air are living in older buildings with window units. Usually that equates to lower income housing, which is why we have fan drives in SA. But otherwise, it is not even considered optional.

Sorry! I am aware that my reply was more than unhelpful. But for of that, my sis really likes it there because of all the awesome things she finds, and she doesn't complain to me about the weather much...and air conditioners are pretty much standard issue here and are on 24-7, so it's doable!
