If you only judge a car on 0-60 times of course EV’s are hard to beat. But there are a lot of other things that go into what makes a car enjoyable and exciting. Plus, none of these cars on this list would ever be described as “exciting”, at least IMO.

I think a HUD is awesome.  Should be available on EVERY car.

Cooled, ventilated seats. The first time I experienced them, I felt like someone who lived ages ago and saw television for the first time. Add a massage function and it’s like seeing the jump from black and white to color TV.

Back rear window on the 4Runner. It turns my SUV into a closed cabin pickup. Great for riding open air on the beach.

I don’t have any shares either. What I do have is popcorn in the microwave.

This is one of the things I never understood about Tesla. “Check out the amazing performance on this car! The instant torque! The unrivaled acceleration! But the coolest feature is not driving it at all!”

Owing but also DRIVING your own car is ingrained in our culture.

The first thing I’m doing when becoming a billionaire is retire and fade into obscurity. I don’t need nor want to control anything, just give me money so I can drive nice cars, work out, and play xbox all day.

Now, an exec departing from the American electric vehicle maker has questioned the “long game” behind boss Elon Musk’s cuts at the automaker.

They aren’t even the slightest bit fun until you are at license-shredding speeds. My M235i was good fun in Europe where I could actually stretch it’s legs, but boring as hell back home in the US. The GTI that replaced it was much slower but much more entertaining.

There’s also the issue that new cars are so numb compared to the old stuff. You really have no clue what’s going on until you’ve crossed the threshold and stability control is reeling you back in.

I would argue that unless you are a race driver, all cars are lamer today than yesterday.

What you want and what Porsche wants, are two completely different things.

That and considering the Plaid is in the same time range 1/4 mile and 0-60 but doesn’t cost 2 million dollars, what exactly are you paying for? The body is fantastic, but beyond that, there isn’t much difference to truly stand out. the rich will buy it because it’s new with an enormous price tag but they could

Somebody gets it! The wow of merely massive acceleration wears off quite quickly when all that accompanies it is the whine of a golf cart. As I have said on here many times, if you want your organs to be re-arranged by g-forces, a season pass to Six Flags is cheaper and more effective than a fast car.

2nd Gear: It makes sense if it’s true. Supercars have always been about the presence and the experience, the speed and performance run parallel, but how many times do we see Owners of supercars just driving them normally or even slower? Because even when driven normally it is still an exciting experience. People don’t

Supercharged 4 runner owner here, don’t listen to these broke boys on how to spend your money you wanna add cheap horsepower supercharger is the way to go. I’m on 35s and weigh around 5500 pounds. I like being able to go the speed limit get in and out of traffic. Going through hills and mountians is butter now. Made

Only time will tell where Tesla ends up.

The supercharger team cuts are quite frankly baffling, but we shouldn’t gloss over the “new vehicle” team cuts either. Tesla already has an aging line up. A lot of the current valuation is tied up in new products launching (“cheaper” mass produced Cybertrucks, the “cold rocket thruster” Roadster, the “yes we will/no

Realistic (somewhat) list is more fun.
