I agree. I’ve gotten to where I scroll to the bottom first and if comments are turned off I don’t even read the articles. On top of that more and more articles that are obviously political but are about Musk so they “count” keep popping up...I can get that shit elsewhere, thanks....

This is a chance I’m willing to take.

That’s all well and good until turbulence hits and your lap is suddenly full of angry and scared houselion with claws out.

That’s exactly what the button is for. ON mean it’s open and loud. But you would have to be a car person to understand that.

Yeah, the writers have become insufferable here, using their columns as an opportunity to push their own political leanings on the readership. What ever happened to just writing about the cars?

With no disrespect intended, next time please review the car, not your own attitudes.

The problem here is an underengineered,  $110K Wrangler. Let’s talk about that, shall we?

Worse, as soon as they let it out, it started meowing to be let back inside again!

OTOH, I’d pay extra for a cat to sit on my lap during a flight.

I’m all for having an EV as the ‘2nd family car’ even if its range isn’t over 200 miles.

The issue is that YOU DON’T NEED A RENTAL CAR AT ALL when you have a gas car.

180 miles is fine, if you have it as a second car and you got a nother car that can do the miles for longer trips...

for the one to 3 trips I take a year where I drive... thats more than a grand worth on rental cars.... which I STILL have to fill up with gas.

If I have to rent a car to make long distance drives, like road trips to visit family that live in other states, or going camping in remote areas of southern Utah, I’m not going to buy a low range EV and will keep my ICE car instead.

The issue with forums is that almost every car can look problematic when you just go off of what you’re seeing on a forum. Every model has some issues, it’s often very difficult to gauge how widespread the problems are just going off what you read on forums.

I miss when every other article wasn’t ragebait.

I can hear you naysayers now in my comments, talking about how a clean car means you take care of your things and how if a car is dirty you’re ruining the paint. Let me just say this: shut up. I do not care. Life is too short to worry about the perfection of your paint on your soft-roader SUV. Spend your time and

Betteridge’s law of headlines is an adage that states: “Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no.”

It has rev-match. It’s called your feet.

Oh yea, I’ve had more fun in a V12 Lamborghini and a V8 1968 Camaro driving the speed limit than I have in a faster EV. Just downshifting alone produces such a sensation that you can’t describe. The V12s produce that higher pitch whine that simulates sort of like a puppy cry when you downshift that stirs your

Artemis had a single flight... that did not explode at all and went to the Moon and came back without showering any portion of the earth with debris. Development on Starship started in 2012.
