I have a feeling it has to do more with the Google part of “Google Stadia” than it does with the Stadia part. In fact, if previous history is any indication, the fact that it’s good and works well makes it more likely that Google will shut it down and replace it with “YouTube Games” or something with 1/4 the features…

Except this is classic Google/Alphabet, launch something with little proper effort and then cancel it when it doesn’t become immediately a hit in less than five minutes.
