Yes! I would have been happy with an actual good series that deviated from the akallabeth, but we got some weird warmed-over cable TV storylines and lots of dumb asides.

Comparing RoP to Andor as if they were the same quality of writing does a huge disservice to Andor. RoP had lots of talent and money on-screen, but the writing, was just terrible. 

The correct answer was not to try to force it to be some sort of Destiny clone, I guess. But, yeah, they didn’t want to piss off the paying customers.

Huh. I got the PC version free with an Intel CPU purchase, guess now is the time to see just how terrible it is even with everything unlocked for free.

Yes. Superman is at his best as a character when he’s in a story about how an invincible man with superpowers still must make hard choices in order to live up to his necessarily high moral and ethical standards.
