That’s unfortunate... *continues to play Torchlight II*

given the number of people (read: almost everyone) who hate fetch quests, its amazing how common they still are in games

as a frosthaven backer i couldn’t be more amped for this game. the major weakness of gloomhaven is the boilerplate fantasy narrative, and literally any effort expended to add a bit of nuance to that is welcome—especially considering how sophisticated the tactical gameplay is.

Glad you’re covering this. The comments on the kickstarter were pretty alarming, honestly.

And it as the beneficial side effect of forcing writers/creatives to create new interesting fantasy content, without constantly having to call back to or rehash the same old tropes!

Now what are Paradox fans supposed to comment on every single Paradox thing besides asking where Victoria 3 is?

Paradox is right up there with Star Wars and Rick and Morty as far as mostly-good creators with TERRIBLE fanbases.

Wrath of The Druids replaces these side stories with combat challenges, puzzles, and collectibles.

As somebody who is a long-time fan of the RE series and also felt that RE7 wasn’t nearly as good as other entries in the series (especially because of the emphasis on stealth and grindhouse style gore), I can say: you should give it a shot.

Of all the sites to shutter due to an advertiser influenced pivot to video, who would’ve thought it’d happen to Giant Bomb.

Everyone knows that it’s technically more difficult to animate non-white non-cis women character models. Programmers have just recently cracked the code for animating female models. Just wait 5-10 more years, the technology just isn’t there yet!
