Story is it was a child who attacked the animal and hurt it intentionally. I believe the people who attacked the owners were the child’s parents, after the owner tried to intervene and rescue her cat.

Welp, I made the mistake of clicking the links and reading more about the story. The kid apparently stomped on the cat and threw her up in the air so hard that she died. Then the other 7 people in the family beat the shit out of the lady until bystanders pulled them off her. 

It may be bad, but it’s not as bad the the Xbox PC app to be fair.

I want to like it. I certainly keep redeeming free games on their website. But dang it, this launcher/store app is one of the worst-performing pieces of software I’ve ever installed on my PC. When even Origin and Uplay, both known for being rather crappy apps, run smoother than Epic, you know Epic’s got a big problem.

It really does seem to missing alot basic functions. Last time I used it there wasn’t even a back button, you’d have to go to the front store page and navigate back to whatever you wanted to look at.

I browsed around Epic Games yesterday installing the launcher. 10 minutes later I uninstalled it. Wow. That is some hot garbage.

I’m both in agreement with you and wanting to weep about the idea of a thousand dollars making any significant dent in a deposit for a house. Clearly you live in a much different (and saner) real estate market than I do...

Yeah, I will never “afford” a headset because I will probably always feel that I can spend that cash somewhere else. I’d like to play this, but I don’t have plans on buying a VR headset anytime in the foreseeable future.
