Sounds right to me. Although most people have put the new version of the clutch (I think designated as "F") in the early Gs after the originals wore out and see better wear than with the early ones. I'm sure the longer gearing doesn't help though, like you said.

Thought it was a great video by the way. I like the direction you guys have gone.

I think you mean 06 for the changes. 05 just got the lift. Not that it matters much :) And there are plenty of people who love the early Gs too. Not sure they're as bad as you're portraying them. Then again, you've probably got more direct experience than me.

I'll just tack another +1 to this. That was really interesting. Cool guys to listen to.

Fantastic article :) This is why I love Jalopnik.

Without knowing further detail, one would assume the R8 is also on much more sporty tires than the minivan. Ask Schumacher about having the wrong tires for the conditions :D

Not so much a question, but a simple pat on the back for designing a beautiful car. Lovely evolution of it.

I'll just jump onto the bandwagon here because you hit the nail on the head. It's so cliche, but pictures do this car no justice. Just like you, I thought it would be tall and too sedan-like. However, someone down the street from me bought a 5.2 coupe in Daytona Grey and blew my mind. Super sleek, low and wide. I
