We need to start pushing for bans on overpriced medicine.

The co-pay on one of my meds went up to $80/mo this year... The pharmacist looked like he was waiting for me to yell at him.

You know, I’d like to amend my statement because you made me realize I overgeneralized.

When it’s explained to them that they themselves are benefiting from “entitlements”, the response is that they have worked long and hard and deserve every penny they get. But they can’t extend that same view to ANYONE. ELSE.

I also think of it as a lifelong, possibly terminal illness. I will never understand why people go off their meds. I feel 450% better and more human now that I’m on mine. I can no longer write a novel in a month, but at least I’m not burning my life to the ground.

I’ve already started. I’m calling Rob Portman’s office every week asking what he plans to replace the ACA with. I suspect I’m on some kind of list.

These assholes. It’s like how Colbert described Trump’s whole process to the Presidency - jumping out of a plane and knitting the parachute on the way down.

And if anybody deserved killing ... what a scuzbucket.

I wish more “family” shows covered the election. I was traveling on election night, red-eye flight, and had a layover in L.A. right about the time it was becoming clear which way this was falling. My husband called me and said that our 19 year old daughter was in her room, sobbing, and he couldn’t even understand what

I’ve taught 5th grade, and Ben Carson, honest to fuck, his processing skills are as low as an average 11 year old. I can not believe....like, how the fuck did he make it this far in politics?

This was absolutely all the more heartbreaking, knowing how it ends. You could tell that the way it was filmed and developed, the idea was that Carrie was so concerned that Debbie was on her way out and Carrie was showing a little discombobulation by it all. It that had come out a month earlier, you know we all would

Just curious: of the folks who are married, how many of you are still friends with the people in your wedding party to whom you are not related?

I recall going on a Jagermeister bender on a Wednesday night because it was $1 a shot. Broke college students, man.

Where’s the video? C’mon, someone had to have whipped out their phone to get video of THIS!

I really don’t need the Rogue, nor can I afford it right now, but damn if I don’t pull up the website every day to gaze at it.

That’s fucking stupid, as is this course which is a travesty of higher academia.

Over the last few years, more and more often I have found myself thinking, “Thank God I don’t work at UW Madison.” I actually said to a doc student who mentioned a job opening there, “Are you sure you really want to go to the Wisconsin system? Look long and hard at how involved politics are in that system,” and she

No, I don’t work for them, but I ought to, if only for the employee discount so I could get the Prussian blue and black Rogue bag. Goddamn, that’s a pretty bag.

Granted, I don’t know much about the world of backup dancers or the spoiled pretentious little shits they are backing up, but as they are backing up said person, don’t they usually have the same schedule? If the pretentious little shit is busy, isn’t his backup dancer?

It’s amazing how deep the entire Star Wars thing is. The mark it made on the world is so much more than just movies. It’s incredible, wonderful people. People we’re all just a little better because of.
