The “poor” children will still see it and they will get twice as many episodes. This is a win win especially when the show was teetering on cancelation because PBS couldn’t afford the cost. So, would you rather Big Bird and Oscar pack it in and no shows or this?

The best part of this episode was how the Trill’s final female host is there to say “what difference does our love make as same sex” which meant a lot to me as a bisexual growing up. I respect Jonathan Frakes because he thought the main roll should of been played by a male actor.
