I feel like between the unoriginal premise and the art I can see why this was shelved...

It would last LONGER, due to the radiation preventing decomposition.

The abandoned, wood-framed, blown-in-half houses which would have rotted to dust in 50 years. The existence of wood-framed anything still standing 200 years after a nuclear assault leveled the area.

Nooo no more Michael Caine! He never felt “right” as Alfred. As far as previous-Alfred-actor-continuity, Sean Pertwee has it nailed, though they probably want to cast older, and Michael Gough/Efrem Zimbalist Jr are dead, so why not Jeremy Irons? I’m not sure how he will do (even though he’s a wonderful actor, probably

I’ve felt like the first two got it right with having John only be a supporting character, and instead having the focus on Sarah. When you get into the third and fourth films where John is the main character, he’s somehow much less compelling (and not just because of the questionable writing/acting). Sarah is the most

The Laurel and Cisco scenes were adorable! I’m all for mixing up the typical scene pairings.

They did do that in T3, essentially. The T-X was a robot skeleton with liquid metal skin coating, and her arms had fold-out weapons including a plasma cannon.

Liquid metal wrapper on machine with moving parts (including transforming arms with plasma cannons/etc) — Terminator 3.

Jai Courtney? Still doesn’t have a huge volume of work under his belt but between Spartacus, Terminator, and Die Hard he probably counts as an up-and-comer.
Also Dwayne Johnson (43).

All correct!

Did you notice how almost all of the Rebels actors (with the exception of Zeb, because, Zeb) look like they could play their characters in live action? I wonder if that was accidental, intentional, or they just designed the characters to look like the actors?

It was even dedicated to Kurosawa! It was definitely inspired by the movie.

I gotta say, if you loved the Tartakovsky show, check out the computer animated Clone Wars show that Filoni and Lucas made. I did like the Tartakovsky version a LOT, but it absolutely pales in comparison to the full run of the Filoni show.

I’m not sure what that difference is, but I was merely using the original poster’s “scrap heap” in my comment. I don’t think either look like they were saved from the trash. If anything the new one looks more hand-made, like they built parts of it with conduit and other parts grabbed during a Home Depot trip (which

Heaven forbid they put in a joke somewhere.

Scientists and engineers aren’t concerned with the look of things - why would unlicensed prototype nuclear accelerators NOT look homemade?

Take another look at that picture... Having built a replica myself, I can assure you the originals are pretty scrap heap too... I was afraid they’d go too slick with the new one but I’m pleased.

So was Winston by the time of Ghostbusters 3 (the video game, which was written by Aykroyd and Ramis and totally counts)! He got a doctorate after GB2.
