YES I caught that and giggled. That actress is marvelously dedicated to the role.

Yeah, I thought Butch would shoot himself instead of either of them... and then thought maybe he would shove Penguin off the ledge too for equality’s sake. Ah well.

I didn’t realize it either but since Crisis in the mid 80s Batgirl/Barbara Gordon has been Jim’s niece and *adopted* daughter. So maybe it’s more a weird coincidence that he was dating someone with the same name as his brother’s kid, rather than naming his kid after his psycho ex

It’s really a fantastic show!

That hair and her presence makes me realize they coulda cast her as Storm (only if Angela Bassett turned down the role of course). She was the most entertaining actor on the show!

We have that story already - check out the Clone Wars cartoon. Mandalorians get several storylines.

You should watch the Clone Wars cartoon - it goes into his background a bit more in a really interesting way. **Season 2 spoilers** There’s a storyline where kid Boba Fett very nearly murders Mace Windu (Mace is still kind of a dope in the cartoon too). I don’t know if that sounds cheesy when typed out but it was well

Theta protocol? I took it to just refer to that Avengers academy base at the end but it could include the helicarrier as well.

I suppose both, but the end end is probably where things like the bunk beds they mentioned went.

Yes, that armor is way too generic hockey pads looking to belong to a main character, much less Deadshot.

Haha oops, it was even closer than I remembered. Thomas Dekker is that guy from Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Now playing

Reposting from a buried comment thread... One of my favorite Pulaski scenes:

Now playing

Now I know you didn’t watch the season, or at least haven’t seen it in so long that you’ve forgotten. At that point in the show Pulaski was second only to Riker as Worf’s closest friend. There were several scenes where this is shown, such as their sharing a traditional Klingon tea ceremony:

Riker was a rewritten Thomas Dekker and Troi was just a new version of Ilia (with hair). But they certainly evolved beyond that, just as Pulaski was beginning to when she left.

She did realize her mistake, though! By the end of the season she and Data were good friends.

Ah, I mistook your point. Agreed!

When people post this kind of stuff about her I have to assume they didn’t actually watch the season. By the end of the season she realized how wrong she was, and became good friends with Data. She held strong opinions but was fully willing to reconsider them when presented with new information/experiences.

And over the course of the season she learns from her mistakes, overcomes her prejudices, and grows as a person as a result. It’s a great illustration of the higher ideals of the show. Pulaski was one of the better written characters that season.

After reading that headline, I think that’s enough internet for today.

To me this is much more interesting / exciting than the batmobile feature. Speaking as someone who loved the first one, mostly liked the second, tolerated the third, and wasn’t planning to pick up this one — it’s the first news that makes me consider picking it up.
