“The problem if the grid is that it is creaking and old and has been for a long time.”
“The problem if the grid is that it is creaking and old and has been for a long time.”
Counter-point: That is speculation and may not be true.
I could not agree with you more. Since most hydrogen today is sourced from fossil fuels, it is not “green” at all. It could be green, it is just that electrolysis is more expensive than using dino juice.
Point taken, though I genuinely believe liquid hydrogen can work with compromises. The fact that U.S.S.R. was able to create a concept in 1988 with the Chernobyl mess bringing about the downfall of their socialist state is impressive. But ... I also question whether it will happen because the track record of humanity…
Liquid hydrogen. Airbus is developing it right now and plans flights to begin in 2035. They are not likely to meet the target, but neither will Boeing’s french fry fueled aircraft - and Airbus has a genuine solution.
Is it, though? Ignoring the supply limitations, tech to integrate, international support, and the fact that “transition” solutions should have been implemented a decade ago — the main concern is that this is a distraction and PR stunt. Maybe my opinion has been shaded by the Max brouhaha, but I find it hard to believe…
ICE or EV?
The time to buy anything is when that item is absolutely needed. However, since the eighties, that sort of logical thinking has been been labeled un-American. After all, those storage units aren’t going to fill themselves. Speaking of which - don’t forget to get an extra router for the storage unit.
That’s why you should have leased it! What were you thinking?
I’m partial to GT2's intro with The Cardigans, even if it wasn’t “My Favorite Game” - but, yes, the intro on GT4 is excellent.
It was only 5 counties that required testing in WA: King, Snohomish, Pierce, Clark, and Spokane. Vehicles passing emissions were regularly sold or re-registered in counties that did not require inspections.
True. They also ended it because it had a gaping loophole where the majority of high polluting vehicles were never tested since the testing was only forced on vehicles registered in the Seattle area.
Just like Poland, I did nazi that one coming.
Have you seen the air over LA before 1970? 4.5m less people than today and the air was dangerous over half of the year and the United States Feds had no remedy for the problem.
Yes, based on their successful 50 year track record, I agree that whatever California comes up with should be adopted nationally.
And every night, since the fake news said Biden won, the sun has just disappeared! Every night! It’s all from his socialist policy of “sharing” the sun around the world!
I’m disappointed in you, José. You need to find a true diamond in the rough, like the Sony DTX-10 DAT (digital audio tape) head unit.
The tires are rated for 35K miles or two moose maneuvers - whichever comes first.
I agree that their priorities are subjective and sometimes questionable, but there is no source more independent than CR - which is part of the reason they have a habit of pissing everyone off. So much of their automotive scoring is based on surveys from actual owners which is a pretty good source for evaluation. BUT,…
