Without delving into spoilers, the "social interactions" essentially boil down to 1 or 2 quick cutscenes each for most of the Mass Effect 1-3 crew you've kept alive, and also a whole "ensamble" gathering where you get to watch and interact with everyone mingling. :)

Never played a Thief game in my life, but I've heard of the atmospheric gold that is the Shalebridge Cradle. Having heard about this single stage more than the entire rest of the series combined I decided to watch a playthrough of it on YouTube. Hot damn was I getting some serious Amnesia vibes from it.
