People called it a cafe, but it's pretty obvious what it really was.

Without delving into spoilers, the "social interactions" essentially boil down to 1 or 2 quick cutscenes each for most of the Mass Effect 1-3 crew you've kept alive, and also a whole "ensamble" gathering where you get to watch and interact with everyone mingling. :)

I know those feels. I've been perfectly content with my standard mouse for years, but the Mass Effect series had shown me how frustrating number hotkeys can be with WASD movement games. Instead of using the full power arsenal of my Shepards, they instead usually made it through the games using only the skills bound to

Sounds like you could just use a group of level-headed peeps to play with, Mike. For example my friends and I couldn't care less whether we win or lose just as long as we're having a good time in oneanothers company. You're welcome to join us anytime you wish. :)

No need to look for mines; more often then not they'll find you. Particularly when you don't want to find them. :P

"Young Master, can you hear me? I'm sorry I can't protect you any more... But now that you've grown up, you no longer need my protection. Young Master... You make me proud.

To be fair, the fact there are two Persona 2 games can be a bit confusing!

Reminds me of a video commentaryI watched yesterday. While I don't agree with entirely everything said in it, it's still some food for thought especially in the wake of the latest Aliens game.

The Eden Prime settlement. The incident and kicked off a beast of a trilogy.

Kurik/Clik from Star Ocean: The Second Story. A beautiful seaside town (and one of the nicer-looking cities in the game!) senselessly lost in a massive earthquake followed soon after by a tsunami.

First one I thought of too. Still one of the most effective introductions of a Big Bad to this day. :)

I just imagine The Walking Dead going all Mars Attacks, with the harps being the only thing stopping the hordes of walkers spontaneously combusting off-camera.

And now I realize this article is purely about snow stages. Apologies! :c

Never played a Thief game in my life, but I've heard of the atmospheric gold that is the Shalebridge Cradle. Having heard about this single stage more than the entire rest of the series combined I decided to watch a playthrough of it on YouTube. Hot damn was I getting some serious Amnesia vibes from it.

I thought Jerry Lambert wasn't supposed to show up in anything game-related for awhile.

You just sold me on this game when it come out. Cheers! :)

Play a game that's a FPS-But-Not-Really-A-FPS like any of the Mass Effect Trilogy. :B

Woah. Weird Geocities nostalgia goin' on.

When I think of permadeath, I also think of self-inflicted permadeath rulesets such as Pokemon's Nuzlocke Challenge with specific regulations limiting the number of Pokemon you can catch and making you release/permanently box a pokemon that faints. Really makes you value the little guys much more.

If only Minecraft had a gun, this whole tragedy could have been prevented.
