My interest in the title might have lasted longer had it been playable on PC, but it was one of those mobile games that was so staunchly against android PC emulators that the devs went out of their way to ensure it was designed specifically not to work on them. Shame; I imagine that decision alone shut off a good

I’ve really been enjoying Alex’s breakdowns of Final Fantasy XIV’s various BGM tracks. The game’s pretty highly regared for it’s soundtrack that plays around with a ton of different genres, and Alex does a really cool job of using them to teach music theory.

Seeing that game devs tend to be fans of video games themselves, I have a feeling part of it might be that a sizable portion of the company doesn’t want to spend Cyberpunk’s launch week bugfixing the new PoE patch. :P

Best of luck with your living situation, man. Hope things look up for ya quickly. =)

Thanks for your kind words! I’ll just keep truckin’ along as always, I’ll survive. =)

Hey there Luke. When my dad was diagnosed with ALS at the end of 2016, I moved back home to act as a caretaker for him and my mother, who were both in their later 70s at the time. By the time be passed away at the start of 2018, I’d gotten myself into debt trying to support my dad the best I could. I now take care of

I’m glad you enjoy it! =)

I’ll be honest: the art style didn’t appeal to me at first either whaen I was initailly looking into it. But I blame that partially on YouTube quality; once I bought the game it seemed to look a lot more crisp, colorful and all-around really nice. =)

For fans of FFT that would prefer to stay away from the F2P trap, I’d like to throw out Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark. It’s a super solid TRPG with all the old things we loved about FFT: dozens of classes, mix-and-matching learned skills and a compelling story. It’s even got a few things we would have loved back in the

I think they’re both Vocaloids (Meiko and Rin)!

Hey there. I’ll admit I’m completely ignorant of this situation; the Indian subcontinent is a bit of an enigma to me that’s passed under my internation radar pretty much my entire life. Thus, I don’t really have anything worthwhile to add to this discussion.

I played this minigame an absurd amount of times with my sister back in the day. Thanks for the nostalgia!

20 years later, and my favorite sequel is still Suikoden II. What a perfect JRPG of the era. <3

I think the reason this type of activity is called a jumping puzzle is due to the games that popularized it, namely Guild Wars 2. In addition to GW2 outright calling them Jumping Puzzles within the game, they tended to take place in open environments and oftentimes involved a good amount of trial and error to figure

A kudos for you for keeping it going for as long as you did; I certainly looked forward to it each week. =)

It generally doesn’t matter to me what PC storefronts games pop up onto, as I don’t find having other launchers and stuff that much of a hassle. I’m glad there’s competition around now to encourage Valve to improve in areas it’s been lacking the past handful of years!

Even if it was a Evangelion clone that swapped out the religious referances for musical ones, I genuinely enjoyed RahXephon more. Evangelion’s not bad per say, but I generally found the cast and events of RahXephon way more impactful to me!

In today’s age of mobile F2P games and “live service” games that lack any definite end point, I think it’s important to remember that it’s totally okay to get your fill of a game and walk away. It’s also a very strong reminder to only put as much money into a F2P game as you think it’s worth, as a couple of years down

Hey, you’re right! Looks like I got some bad intel on that a long time ago; cheers for the correction. =)

Never say never! Catherine was a test of the engine Altus later used to make Persona 5. Since they managed to get Catherine on PC successfully enough, I believe it’s too soon to truly rule out Persona 5 eventually making the jump too.
