i’d probably ask for a pat down instead of going through the detectors (i do this anyway out of principle bc screw those body scanners). it may take a bit longer but you wont have to worry about going in and out of detectors and having a cane taken away from you, etc.. when you check in tell the desk agent what’s up

It sounds like there wouldn’t have been a problem if she didn’t need additional screening. They’re asking people to anticipate what may happen in a situation with a lot after variables.

Most of their employees are actually outsourced.

yes, when I see the caliber of my local TSA agents, my homeland security fears are assuaged.

Absolutely, and I might add that $100,000 is not even close to enough. What they should sue for is dismissal of the TSA agents plus a few mil.

Russia is only five hexes away from her Capital.

The UN?!?! Nah, the key is to set up shop in Australia, establish a chokehold in SE Asia, and then turtle for half an hour while everyone else destroys one another before you make your move...

Well this is the prisoner’s dilemma in action... you sending your kid to a “less fortunate” [sic] school for the sake of equality only really works on a macro level, i.e. if everyone does it as well. If you’re one of only a handful of people doing it - which is the current reality of the situation - you’re not

“Papa, what makes the gifs blink?”

As an African American woman, whose mom’s parents moved from inner city Philadelphia to the NJ suburbs and whose dad’s parents supplemented his education (to great sacrifice of their own) in Jim Crow south so that he could have the choice to attend Harvard one day, no my beliefs do not extend that far. I feel as

Look, call me selfish or a bad liberal but my kids are being sent to a place where they’ll be safe, where they’ll be well-educated and where they won’t have to deal with over-stressed, underpaid and disinterested teachers.

I’m going to home school my kids so that they learn the TRUTH about the geocentric universe we live in.
