I have a younger 9-5 estate (2005 manual) so this caught my eye.

I listened to this most recently in the end credits to one of the Hawkeye episodes. I hadn’t remembered the lyrics being quite so randomly cruel. Brain full of spiders? Abysmal equestrian skills? It’s like someone so put out with someone else that they’re grasping at language, poorly, to express their feelings.

I’m happy to see this finally coming out. I’ve kinda settled on a Ranger being my next car, though prolly not for a couple years at least.

Xanadu has a special place in my heart. I was seven and had a little crush on Gene Kelly after seeing Singin’ in the Rain, then I watched Xanadu and totally wanted to be ON-J, even though at that tender age I had an awareness that this movie was nowhere in the same league as ‘Rain.

The first time I tried FH4, I hated it. It couldn’t get the hang of driving with the controller. When I replaced my old Xbone, the replacement included the game, and I gave it another shot. I loved it.

IIRC that weight exceeds the hybrid Maverick’s capability, and hybrid leads in me consider that vs a Ranger. Ima still waiting for an electric or hybrid Ranger in the next refresh.

Oh yeah. I’m back in Ranger-mode after falling under Bronco hype. If I’m willing to go auto then for the same money I get get a top-level trim 4x4 on the Ranger for what a mid-range trim Bronco is going for.

I’m all over the place. I’ve been a happy station wagon owner for six years now, but leaning towards truck or truck-adjacent. I’ve been excited about all the Ford truck launches the past three years, from the relaunched Ranger in the US, the Bronco, the Lightning, and the Maverick.
