Well, to be fair, he’s not a reporter. They didn’t even bother with that. He’s a camera guy (who also drives the truck and edits and beams back to the station) and who the hell cares about them?

Updated: the station forgot they sent him. Overtime for the drive back!
FWIW my SO works in tv news in NYC . . .and today they are sending him to Albany to camp outside the governor’s residence.
TL;DR.
Mister Gradenko brought up the prospect of buying one of those older Grumman mail trucks as either 1) old enough to avoid certain regulations, like the 25-year JDM trend, and 2) buying surplus from the government.
FWIW I’m reading Walrus as sarcastic not trolling.
I have an older (2005) manual 9-5 sportcombi with similar miles. I paid less 6years/40k miles ago.
What I get for not scrolling through all the comments before posting. Ye beat me to the punch, sirrah.
Mach-E Mark and the Monkey Bunch.
I like it but there are a couple of dealbreakers for me. I’m hoping that the next general Ranger has some hybrid options - or “Electric Cowboy” or whatever they’d brand all-EV on it.
I’ve been offline camping all weekend including last Friday.
I’ve been fantasy car shopping, but hopefully I’m not actually in the market for another 3-5 years.
I literally just heard of this company today, and I don’t know how I missed them. We were talking cars at work bc someone got her new Bronco, and from there we talked Lightning and Rivian and . . .Lucid.
I am super excited about this. I’ve been a Rivian fan for months now, and side-eying the Bronco and Ranger to eventually replace my station wagon.
It’s not quite the same, but I happily brag about the set of bluetooth casette adapters I have (with mic attachments) to jam out in my ‘05 Saab station wagon - CD/FM/Tape but no Aux in, which is weird. They’re good for about 4 hours of play time and let me pretend I’m in a modern car.
I had no idea of the trans angle until my brother mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. Now I have to watch it.
I have a 2005 Saab wagon w turbo. I never really knew what that meant until after reading up on it for the car. Having driven other non-turbos since, I’d be hard-pressed to do without it.
I remember this film fondly; I may have seen it when it came out, or a bit after, but definitely on the OG Disney Channel when I was still a kid.
I enjoyed the show. My only gripe is that apparently my headcanon pronunciation of Rambeau has been wrong from the start.
Similar feelings, not as strong. I’m a city-dweller who drives pretty much just on the weekend, occasional camping and carrying kayaks on the room. I can tow a light trailer with kayaks on it as well.
