As far as I can tell, based on things like the RPG and Dark Descent, the canon “explanations” from Prometheus and Covenant are being walked back a bit. The Space Jockeys and the Engineers are separate species, and David didn’t “create” the classic Alien so much as rediscover it by reverse-engineering the Engineers’…

I don't think their reference to a "bug hunt" was about the xenomorphs,  otherwise they wouldn't have needed to bring Ripley along as a consultant.  The Marines didn't even know basic things like the xenomorphs having acid for blood and had to be told by Ripley.

Agents of shield was better than every show marvel has produced since Disney plus came around.

I tend to agree that this series has just kind of... existed, but it seems weird to complain in detail about the show (which I think are on point) and not make note of an actual surprise.

I like Fury, but if he were to get knocked unconscious next episode and not wake up until everything is over in the finale, I’d be absolutely tickled to watch this show led by Sonya, lunatic MI6 agent.

This episode gave me a lot more confidence for the rest of the miniseries. Especially since they answered my question, how did we go from just a couple Skrulls left behind on Earth to so many, all angry at Fury?

I’m waiting for stories about Jared Leto going over-the-top with Method Acting.
