If those guys show up, then humanity ends up trying to tame the xenomorphs to fight them. An idea, but not a route I’d like to go down.

Ah, the Punisher, Marvel’s mashup of Death Wish era Charles Bronson and Bernie Getz. How you get from “extra-judicial vigilante” to “logo-wearing law enforcement” would tell you a lot about what’s gone wrong with the various police departments.
Mister Gradenko’s parents have one of this for getting in and out of town in Vermont. It is as described, the perfect town car. We wouldn’t long-haul with it but then again, neither do they.
So glad to see this and other comments to the same effect. I’ve liked his Quicksilver much more than the MCU Quicksilver since they debuted. I’m also a big fan of his from AoS.
My only memory of this film is that it was of a trio of teenage science movies (as mentioned by others) around the same time of Real Genius, Weird Science, and this one. FWIW that’s my ordering of quality as well.
Thanks for explaining all this. I’ve had HBO Now for a while, and this whole time I thought Max was yet another service and I wasn’t interested in adding to my streaming stable. Then SURPRISE! Automgically I get HBO Max (yay) but also my AppleTV no longer support (boo). I’ve configured it on my recently-replaced Xbox…
I love this show. I routinely describe it as what would happen if Stranger Things, I, and Broadchurch had a three-way.
Mister Gradenko and I were considering road holiday, but being New Yorkers no one will take us without a 14-day quarantine.
I recall some D&D branded CYOA-style books from when I was in middle school - say the mid-eighties. I dunno if they were called Endless Quest but I had three or four of them. They were richer in tone and story detail that the CYOA.
As it happens, the Psychedelic Furs Pretty in Pink came on right before I saw this.
Ah yes, Battle for the Planet of the Apes, wherein the humans have been reduced to using a yellow school bus for a personnel carrier.
Came here for the Saabs. Tom wins, Jason runner up for Swede, Swede love.
Dang, and just yesterday I clicked on the link to automagically extend my points through the end of the year, seeing how all my holiday plans are cancelled.
That sounds like Life of Brian meets Attack of the Clones.
I continue to hold out hope for New Mutants, despite getting repeatedly shanked by most of the X-franchise.
A day later on HBO Now.
Two of these things? I had no idea. Nice trainspotting. Err, ‘botspotting :)
Nice.
Whenever I see an F1 in that livery, I think of this guy:
I keep thinking WW has gone from a rebooted Blade Runner to now, a screen test for Neuromancer. TBH I’d like to see now a Jonathan Nolan take on Neuromancer.
