genetically altered kids who are involved in a space war…

Is that Grimjack based on the First comics scifi/magic/multiverse series? Sign me up.

Dang. Not surprised. I was a latecomer to the original movie; SAC was OK leaning towards good.

I would watch the hell out of that. Especially in cutaways to Archer hitting on the Major . . .only to learn she’s a cyborg and that never ends well.

No joke, the Great Patriotic War is super important to Russians.

So now I’m caught up. As much as I hate to turn to the internet to vent, Ima power through.

OMG yes. And get Diana Rigg’s name right.

Skipping for now just bc I haven’t watched the last episode.

So the thing about the seventies is, yes child abuse was totally played for laughs.

Been a fan of the franchise since I was a tot. While both movies had their shortcomings, I enjoyed both.

As I approach the end of House of X / Powers of X, that sounds almost exactly like the premise of those ‘mix.

Yeah, Rome, was the second example that came to mine after I read the headline. I remember watching it and I felt like I saw exactly the moment in S2 where the writers were like, “cancelled? F’ it, let’s go bonkers with a bang”. If the back half had been stretched over 2-4 more seasons it would’ve been fine.

Towards the end of my time with P&P RPGs, it was indeed more sourcebooks than actually playing the games.

I went for a drive around most of Manhattan Sunday morning. I hadn’t driven in over two weeks and thought the car could use a stretch.

That’s nearly half the TOS series, but not a bad list at all.

Oh House II is awesome. I caught it on cable as a kid - it’s an unusual tri-mix of horror, comedy, and weird sci-fi.

I read Gravity’s Rainbow before Covid made it cool.

I’m very excited to see Princess. She brought a breath of fresh air to the comics, and is a nice, bonkers example of one way to survive the ‘lypse.

I’m actually pretty happy to see TWD meet Princess. I really liked her in the ‘mix.

So basically the Joes were the X-Men?
