Agree though I kinda slumped in the middle, partly waiting for Mister Gradenko to have time to co-watch. I gave up and finished it this week.

OMG you watched Until the End of the World? Which version? There are like 21 cuts of that film. It’s notoriously high-level Wim Wendersness.

I actually liked this episode, though I can’t disagree with Rob’s play-by-play.

I’d been wondering if/when they were going to follow through with this plot from the comics. I was thinking that if they’ve really built Alpha up to be the new big bad, maybe not, but I’m glad to see it.

God. I remember watching this movie, and even today I’m not clear if she was really sick or entirely psychosomatic.

At a glance I thought I saw some Tethered starting to form a human chain on the hill overlooking the track.

This was my only complaint about the episode. The Doctor got to skate out of making the real moral choice. A sin-eater arrives to carry the burden. Morally, the Doctor can’t really be off the hook for letting the act play out and running away. It just felt like such a cop-out.

Radium Girls . . .opens to positively glowing reviews, I’m sure.
