I'm not sure I agree that it's a counter-argument, it sounds more like an excuse, but either way, this shouldn't be acceptable.

You know, a lot of people have been saying this about games for a while. I remember hearing about it when Mass Effect 3 came out. I usually didn't agree with the sentiment, and was happy with my purchase. Destiny, however, is the first time I actually felt like the game was purposefully gutted.
