The majority of what is being cancelled amounts to basically the interest. Most people have paid their tuition within a handful of years but end up fighting the debt for decades. This would be a far more valuable economic stimulus than a couple one time checks.

The problem is more that they split off the docs/sheets/slides product, but at the same time, most of that functionality is still there in drive. It’s effectively and functionally the same product, branded as two products. You can do the same things, to the same files from two different origins. It’s very confusing.
