Google Maps still doesn’t show speed traps and traffic cameras, as I recall, only major traffic incidents.
Also, you can’t submit reports, so if you’re interested in helping out fellow commuters, you can’t through Google Maps.
“in one study conservative participants were more persuaded to support the legalization of same-sex marriage when it was framed as a patriotism-based argument as opposed to a fairness and equality argument.”
ah yes, I hadn’t picked up on that.
The Windows 10 Facebook App will ask you if you want to synchronize your login image and photo. I think there’s a way in the options to force it if it doesn’t ask you outright.
I’d only want to disable this if there was a way to specify a better search engine. Otherwise, it’s a great feature that works well.
Far Cry XB1 deal doesn’t work - comes up as 29.99. Is there a missing coupon code?

I think once they don’t have to focus on making updates work for a variety of systems all holding different versions of the software, they’ll be able to dedicate more effort towards the singular update. QA won’t be taxed with trying to make a later update work for grandma ethyl who hasn’t updated in 8 months.
Currently the Win10 tech preview implementation allows for this. I’ve come back to my PC after not using it for a while with a message on the screen saying updates were applied and that a restart is needed. Then you have several options: restart now, schedule a restart, or let it schedule the restart for you. It picks…
Yes, this will be great in the car. As soon as we all rush out to buy our Android Auto compatible cars/stereos, we’re going to find out that it’s only compatible on the next car model on and on a different carrier entirely.
That coocheer with the 4x AC plug is confounding. If you look at the direction of the grounding plugs, and then consider how most wall-warts (transformers) are laid out, you can still only plug two into the strip at a time because it will cover the opposite plug. Shipping supplies. Bubble wrap, bubble mailers, packing tape, etc. All half than what you’d pay at office supply stores or even Wal-Mart.
As I’ve read elsewhere, it’s free forever. The opportunity to acquire that free copy is only for one year.
“Windows 10 will run the same on all your screens” and “One Windows for all your devices”
I toyed with the idea of getting rid of my double monitors and using just a large single display. Then I came to a quick realization: I was spending more time moving, arranging and resizing windows because window management in a single screen environment is less intuitive, usually involving a command key combo or…
I’ve been happily using Car Dashdroid for this purpose for a while now. Offers similar features with a much more finger friendly interface that what AutoMate does.
Fantastic read. Thank you for sharing.
technologically, it was this worthless hunk of plastic:
I'll get back onboard with this when they figure out a way to make their mobile presence work more like their web browser presence. I see no reason to use a proprietary browser on mobile simply for passwords. They have enough clout to sit down with Google and get their product working with Chrome for Android as…
What about my butler, chauffeur, cook, personal assistant, groundskeeper, and the other 40 people I keep around to tell me how rich I am?
