I have spent a lot of time in Philly (I'm from the burbs) and it is definitely a really bad place for cat calling. Now that I live in the Midwest it never ever happens anymore but when I go home, it's the same as ever. Once someone told me to "get off that bike and come sit on my face." My boyfriend and friend were

Philly is AWFUL with all the catcalling.

The most aggressive cat callers I have ever experienced have been in Philly. Granted, I'm from there- but I've been in lots of other cities and nowhere else has anyone ever asked if they could "touch my titties" or tell me to "get off that bike and sit on my face." Awful.

This is such a scary story. I grew up in a violent home and at this point if something like this happened to me as an adult, I think I would just break. Kudos to her for her bravery in speaking out about what happened. No one deserves this.

I have a chronic illness as well and my husband really struggles with it. He basically doesn't want to talk about it ever. All I want is some compassion once in awhile. Most of the time I am fine but sometimes I have flares and have to really cut back on activity for a week. We are in couples therapy and that's one of

Ugh, I miss good soft pretzels. Why did I have to move to the Midwest?

I AM GOING TO NOVA SCOTIA IN ONE WEEK AND I WANT TO SEE PUFFINS SO BAD

I wear big cotton underwear and I'm not sorry. I buy it at Target in packs of 6. I put it on the morning and don't have to think about it again. It doesn't move around, get up my butt or get poop on it. Granny panties for life.

I never wear underwear to bed, just a cami with a built in bra to keep the girls in place.

Curly hair here. Run some gel through it after you towel it dry, scrunch it bad don't touch it again until it's completely dry. I then add a little mousse for extra hold after it's dry. The key is not to fuss with it.

Love your hair!

cute!!

My therapist works evenings every other week. It's hard for a lot of people to get there during the day. Plus, I tend to cry to an hour straight and look like a hot mess when I'm done so I'm not exactly going back to the office after that!

Ugh that sounds horrible, I hope you bounce back soon! I've been sick for a week (bad asthma flare up that totally knocked me out of commission) and I'm already dying to get better.

Only to get my haircut, then right back to yoga pants and Netflix.

That's ALL I WEAR when I'm at home. How did we ever live without them???

I don't mind the comparison at all, I love her! Thank you so much, you are too sweet.

Thank you! Go for it!

We had a destination wedding in Colorado with just immediate family. It was super cheap and exactly what we wanted! I never regretted it.

I did something fun with my hair today! I got a streak of purple in my hair that matches my glasses. Dye hasn't touched my hair since 2004, but my recent birthday (31) left me feeling plain and old. Anyone else doing summer hair experiments?
