Having been to Cuba earlier this year, it's a wonderful place filled with an amazing culture and friendly people. Cuba may not have a huge car culture like everywhere else, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist (as you do point out). I visited Havana on my trip. In the main square, there are dozens of cars you're

Good rule of thumb as a Jerseyan who works occasionally and plays in NYC.

My NYC parking story:

$295? What a deal!!! SF starts at $472!

So for the record, the law is 15 feet. You must be 15 feet away from the center of the hydrant in NYC. I now carry a tape measure. Seriously. NYPD does not fuck around when it comes to non-moving violations, so watch out.

Andrew Sullivan would've written a 5000 word post on why living in NYC is akin to slowly dying of pin pricks.

This story is too familiar. I had a car towed while hunting for apartments in Brooklyn...and I had to visit the same Naval Yard in Brooklyn. It seemed like something out of the movies, seething with (perhaps) the sketchiest cops in America. However, I didn't ever try to park in that spot again :)

A lot of those services use uber and liveries use uber. If they don't, they probably should. Uber is faster, easier, and more convenient than wandering around hotels negotiating with random drivers. And public transportation isn't always easier or faster than a cab or livery.

Nope they are a livery service so no medallion. NYC is actually looking to make it 100% illegal because a lot of medallioned workers are looking to jump ship to Uber in part because of the surge pricing making them more money.

Wasn't there was a issue that came up with the taxi companies trying to sue Uber, who was skirting needing a medallion because of the on call nature of the service, it's more a private vehicle rental. If Uber had to get medallions, the start up would have never started.

Yeah, they're basically a livery service so they have a whole lot more leeway than medallions.

It won't just be a simple chrome wrap. It will be a chromed carbon fibre weave.

Our gloss on matte custom Insa Lincoln was pretty cool. -www.insaland.com

I'll just leave this here.

Mansory + a Russian oligarch/mafia/"gentlemans" group + footballer demographic - this should end well.

Well at least they know their audience...
