These shitty videogame movies almost always make money, and can frequently make a lot of money. Hollywood doesn’t give a shit about whether these movies are any good if they still make money anyway.

Gosh, this just does not look good to me. The helmets flying off with almost every kill looks so silly. BF1 had such a grounded, realistic feel that really sold the horror of war. This just looks actiony and silly and and cinematic.

DST should be permanent across the country. It’s better for farmers, those with seasonal disorders and kids in school. Don’t use the stupid “they have to get on the bus in the dark BS, because the other way they have to get off the bus in the dark, which is far more dangerous with all the idiots rushing home from work.

Changing times is a useless anachronism. It’s not 1895 anymore with the farmers needing that extra hour in the morning.

I would indeed vastly prefer it to still be light when I get out of work so I could do the occasional outdoor thing in winter than to have some extra light in the morning that I can’t make use of because I wake up and go to work.

If anything, winter is the correct time for daylight savings. You don’t have to be that far north to have your commute be dark both ways in December.

Also, she could’ve easily gained that hour back by simply not blogging about potentially losing it.

Alex. You lose one hour *once* Just once. And everyone born after spring 2019 will NEVER lose it again. And fuck, it won’t be dark when you go home after 5 pm there come the deepest middle of winter. Isn’t that worth one last hour of your life? To not have that flip-flop is worth it, in spades.
