EBC Yellowstuff is fine for normal and slightly sporty driving. Do not try to track these though, especially with a heavier car. In two days of track sessions I went through an entire brand new pad and glazed them into uselessness.

I would give two more Maserati examples for this answer. The Quattroporte and the Ghibli. Both not exactly lookers or good value for their competitive segment but their engine and exhaust note almost redeem them.

One of the best time I’ve had on wheels was on Big Wheels. We found that if you took off the front wheel, the fork fit perfectly into those two holes for the adjustable seat back. We would hook as many as four of them together in a train. The best was bombing this steep driveway that let out into a cul-de-sac. Driver…

Well I don’t agree with much of what he spouts off about, but if he wants to bring back the V8s he has my support on that.
