This is an excellent point. I mean, they specifically said this was basically just a glorified popularity contest, but of COURSE Undertale is going to win. Everyone’s still hyped up on it.

They clearly said it’s a popularity contest and not a subjective contest of which games are “better.” Of course a game that just came out this year is more popular than a bunch of games younger gamers may not have even played or that many of us haven’t played in years. The games we love are ones we’ve either just

I agree. I think FFVII and OOT are overhyped and mediocre in the grand scheme of gaming. Undertale is an awesome narrative experience, but since it’s not flashy and over the top mechanically, it gets a lot of hate.

Missed opportunity...

With some fleshing out, Happy Home Designer could have been a great basis for a fresh take on the Animal Crossing formula. Giving the character a “job” was a great idea in New Leaf, and it would have allowed you to A) customize your town in a way that’s never been done before and B) given you a neat way to unlock

And it’s one thast comic books need to stop being afraid of. I’M LOOKING AT YOU, DC.

Screw Half-Life 3. No way it’ll live up to the hype. The thing that got my heart pounding was the hope of getting Journey finally.

Interesting piece. As someone who never really watched Sesame Street, has no (and will never have) children and therefore will probably never actually watch Sesame Street, I still found this fascinating. I do enjoy Jim Henson’s work and it’s interesting to see it analyzed like this. Great job.

Fair point.

I’m sure this comments section is going to be full of insightful and intelligent discussion

Right? I can’t see this as being a good thing at all.

You sound mad, bro.

As much as I understand people being upset by a fan project, I’d tend to agree. Smash for the Wii U seems pretty well-received by the competitive community. It’s sad that a long-time project with such a dedicated following has closed down, but maybe it’s just time to move on. Clearly they don’t want to talk about it,

The problem with any statement from the company is that it won’t be believed by the side whose opinion it doesn’t support. If they say “it’s not pressure from ‘SJWs’” then the anti-SJW folks will claim that they’re either lying or, I dunno, scared to admit it. And I have a feeling the opposite would be true. Might as

This was a love letter to Digimon fans, plain and simple. Great characterization, great animation, a great start to the series. I’m afraid it’ll devolve into the typical convoluted crap that Digimon’s been for several seasons now, but I loved what I saw in this first episode. It was great seeing Taichi more uncertain

Something has to have happened. The foreshadowing at the beginning showed all the S2 Digidestined except Takeru and Hikari getting beaten or something. So I’m sure they won’t just ignore it or pretend like it didn’t happen.

Screw remaking FFVII, this is the game that we all want.

This is exactly what I thought.

And this, boys and girls, is why you try and have some respect on the internet. It’s possible to disagree with/criticize something or someone without being a complete jackass. You WILL get flamed to hell for it :-P
