Yeah, but he still dominates everywhere else, including the arena, so...nice try I guess?

It’s...it’s almost like movies are trying to be entertaining...like some kind of...performance art!
I hope they keep working on this game. I doubt this will bring it back to the height of its popularity - which itself was achieved simply because of its newness - but they could really make something neat out of this game if they keep working on it.
or...Or...OR...people are finally just realizing what a shitty monetization system random loot boxes (that can and often do give you duplicates) is in a premium game.
And by “not adequately explained” you mean “not explained at all” right?
It’s an interesting watch for many reasons, not least of which is that I had absolutely no idea how BROKEN the first Final Fantasy was. It’s fun to listen to them explain what’s going on under the hood.
Am I the only one that thought toddlers were one of the most annoying life stages? I kinda didn’t miss them. Going from baby to child seemed like a nice compromise and I never really felt like I was missing much of anything.
Jesus, this game looks like it’s going to be super dark compared to most Nintendo games.
I would be so much more interested in Overwatch as an animated series. They do such good work on these cinematics, but the game is so fucking boring and repetitive.
Between Record Keeper, Brave Exvius, and now World of Final Fantasy (and to a lesser extent the Kingdom Hearts games), it’s pretty clear that Square Enix wants to make a Dissidia-style crossover RPG. I wish they would just do it already. These half measures are driving me nuts.
According to Kaplan, Mercy is the only abnormality. “We’ll look into her,” he said...
I’d care a lot more about this show if there was even the remotest bit of character development. Ok, Ash has been 10 for 12 years, whatever, I know why they do that - so he’ll be relatable to the usual demographic of the show - but he never grows as a character or changes. I get that he can’t be unbeatable and Pikachu…
It just seems like their focus for the past several years has been on making anything BUT a pet-raising game. I don’t know what ever happened to that arena brawl game but there was nothing of Digimon in that other than the monsters themselves. That could have been AMAZING if it’d been paired with a peripheral digivice…
This is pretty cool, but I’ll miss the idea of it being vague and leading you on a merry chase rather than just telling you where it is. But I understand why that’s a bit aggravating and might not be entirely feasible.
Yeah, I kind of realized what they were doing after I posted this. Still, they need to be much more open and up front with this stuff rather than doing something that makes the community pissed off and then offering an explanation days later.
Yeah, I read their response after I posted this. I’m pretty clueless when it comes to technicals on this, but I kind of understand that they couldn’t just leave it running if they wanted to fix the problem.
Yeah, I read that after I posted this. I don’t understand the technicals, but I guess they couldn’t have just left it running. Still, they’ve been super quiet and kind of flippant about everything from day one. They need to be very contrite right now, but all I see them doing is very quietly working…
I don’t think Pokevision should have been allowed to continue operating in the long-term...but I think Niantic/Nintendo ABSOLUTELY should have turned a blind eye to the app until they fixed the functionality in their own goddamn game. I am 100% behind the developer of the app on this one.
Right? Could you imagine a reworked Digivice virtual pet where you raise and train your Digimon (maybe it would take steps/distance for them to actually train) to battle other digimon you found spawning throughout the world?
