Alternative hot take: If any single driver caused as many accidents as Tesla’s autopilot/NOA/FSD has, they would be uninsurable and would have had their license revoked.

It’s not just that there is a tunnel. The exit to YB Island is right there in the passing lane and extremely short.

“They emit 30% of the world’s CO2 (2x the US), more than any other country.”

The Tesla cut into the left lane and braked suddenly. So while according to the letter of the law, the people rear-ending it were at fault, but realistically the Tesla caused the accident. This is at the entrance to the tunnel, so drivers have to adjust their eyes. Even a safe driver might not be able to stop in time.

It’s the “sneaking back in the house after golf with the boys lead to 5 hours at the strip club” mode.

This isn’t even a story nor does it reflect badly on Paul, who is a dipshit.  He rehomed it properly to the horse ranch.  It was the OWNERS of the horse ranch that abandoned the pig.  Paul had nothing to do with the animal after dropping it off at the first ranch.

I, and many others in related industries, agree with everything you typed, here’s a star.

Look here Klaren, the Swedes are my second favorite people. I’ve been there many times, even toured the Gothenburg Volvo plant in 1991. But you are sounding like an electric Karen, Klaren.

OK Polestar. You’re making performance EVs. Where’s your affordable EVs to help push EVs to the mainstream?

Noma is a Danish restaurant

Every single dish described here sounds fucking disgusting.

Let’s do some math: First, we’ll double the $500 for the wine pairing, then we’ll assume 100 covers/night and multiply that by 300, which gives us a gross of 30 million/year, which yeah.

“Nobody wants to work anymore. I mean, these beetles aren’t gonna fruit leather themselves.”

“The problem is how to pay [the employees] enough to afford children, a car and a house in the suburbs.”

I’m going to take stab in the dark and assume Mr. Chef doesn’t live in a modest house in the suburbs, where his children attend a public school.

If not, you can try whacking the surface of the ice with the ridged side of the blade”

Seriously?  This isn’t common knowledge?  Come on up to Canada, apparently you guys all need to be taught how to winter.

Counterpoint:  Probably don’t start whacking your windshield with your ice scraper.  I’ve seen suddenly warmed up glass break with not much force at all.

Cue the TikTok videos of people shattering the door glass by pouring hot water on the door.
