I just hope all of those Aggrivated Battery charges that carry 6 years a pop are consecutive and not concurrent. I’m also glad that this is over. I feel like a large chunk of us were holding our breath today here in Chicago.  Now, I just want to go home and snuggle my cat.

Well, I live here, I really do not want my home and my city to burn down.  So maybe, can we not do that?

I really hope as a Chicagoan this guy gets significan’t jail time.  I’d be more inclined to believe him if he sounded remorseful and didn’t pull the trigger 16 times. 16 TIMES!

I lived in NW Indiana for the first 26 years of my life. I never once heard anyone say ope. I really think that no one black says it - no one in my family or sphere ever said it. But there are white people from my town who refer to “ope” fondly. I live in Chicago now. I do not hear anyone here say it, white or black.

I live in Chicago, I could give a rats ass about if people bite into string cheese. There is way too much good food here in town for us to worry about string cheese! I’m going to guess this is a suburban mom thing who thinks that it is weird that her kid is doing this.

In Dragon Age Inquisition, I used to take the trials that would allow me to earn half XP and keep enemies at my level because of my meandering tendencies, but I would still be overleveled for the main missions in the game when I got around to doing them (I also, being a bit of an introvert, hated Wicked Eyes, Wicked

I must have an old soul, because I’ve had this as a mantra since I was in my early 20s. I had a coworker who used to constantly be late and she was my reliever. One day, after a long 8 hour shift working retail standing on tender ass feet, she called to tell me she was going to be 30 minutes late and I lost my shit.

You should play the new Tomb Raider. Fun - short but not too short. It’s a nice change of pace for me since I’m actually one of those people who will spend 120hrs on one playthrough of a game. I legit did with Origins when you add on the two DLCs - I’m also a completionist so I defog the map and do all the sidequests.

As long as you don’t make me play a multiplayer mission multiple times to get the good gear, we’re good, Odyssey (I’m looking at you, Unity).

The hex bar! We have one at our gym.  I love to load that thing up heavy.. well, heavy for me.  I was just using dumbells but they get so unwieldy.  So the bar is nice because once you load it the weight is evenly distributed and whatnot.

You know he is giving everything to Ivanka since they have a special relationship.  You just know it.

If I’m not mistaken she doesn’t drink since her father is an alcoholic. So it was extra douchey.

I finished Tomb Raider last weekend, so I’m back to No Man’s Sky for now, but next week, I’ll be holed up with AC: Odyssey. I find NMS a lot more enjoyable since the Next Update. Though, they made the animals aggressive again. I did not miss that. Every time I hop out of the Flying Apostle FI6, I get mauled by some

See, Jacob in a top hat was EVERYTHING I love about Victorian Style. But Evie for life in terms of being my favorite assassin. I also loved finding those music boxes!

Noted!

I cannot stop watching this.  T-Rump getting slammed by a linebacker is giving me so much unadulterated joy.

Wait you voluntarily played as Jacob? :) He lacked a certain assassin like finesse that Evie excelled at. Evie was the best. She would have been even better if I could have rolled her up on the gurney and knifed that doctor in the face rather than doing it with Jacob.

I was not a Unity hater. I enjoyed it a lot. And Arno is my pick for the best looking assassin .. but I hated the parkour in that game. I’d press left, Arno would go right. I would push for him to unstick himself from something and he would just...not. I loved the Paris setting though. Every time I went to Port St.

I just can’t - I can’t even get through a quiet morning commute on the CTA brown line without music. I need to focus on the music to get through the actual running... or running and walking since I’m not really ever going to be a full on runner.

It’s the pure evil that has corrupted his soul into an ugly monstrous thing.
