While I like the new Star Trek movies, the sense of adventure is gone. They are not really explorring new things, not going where man hasn't gone before, but are just rehashing stuff done in the past. I hope Star Trek 3 onwards, they really just do something new, no borgs, klingons, etc., required.

I miss the Big E. I'm a trek fan. As such... I feel depressed seeing the new films. Because I know that the core of what made Star Trek important to me wasn't there anymore.
