I agree, although I enjoy Batman Begins. In addition to the poor editing, TDK suffers from scenes of characters standing around and telling you the themes of the movie. So add a bad script to your list of flaws. :)

Given that his popularity is one reason his victims didn’t feel they could object to his behaviour, I’m wondering when this site, Salon and others who were complicit in making him popular will address their sugar-coating of an exploitative industry.

What bothers me is how warm the place looks. That’s the kind of light you might see in Italy or California. London doesn’t look like that now, let alone at the height of the Industrial Revolution.

There’s a new drama series on Lifetime called UnReal which does this. It’s getting pretty decent reviews.

This one's longer (three sketches cut together), but more comprehensive and more frightening:

I'm partial to this one (spoofing the UK show Dragons' Den, which I think was remade in the US as Shark Tank):

Well the list price for the lot is $2,714.34, so $300 is a bit of a discount, to be fair.

100% agree with this. I've not seen Interstellar, but when the first teaser dropped a year ago, I remember thinking: THIS is what Star Trek should be about.

Except they're not just facts, but legal categories as well. German law, for example, distinguishes between public and private persons. The former are politicians, actors, singers etc. like Perry who have sought publicity. The latter are the vast majority of people who haven't and who still have an expectation of

Yeah. That makes more sense to me. I've seen a lot of places 'explain' that it was Olenna, but she was one table further along. The cup was still well out of her reach. Margaery's the only person near it, although the actress plays her as being genuinely surprised/concerned.

One of them, yes. Other ones are News Thump and News Biscuit. And like the Onion, they're hit and miss.

FYI: the Dark Horse site has a bundle of all the Hellboy digital comics on sale for $50:

Ha! They seem to have edited the "normally" bit out now, but I thought it looked weird. Thanks for the heads-up!

Yeah. I noticed that. My first thought was, "WTF, hasn't the writer heard of Jungle Fever?"

Sorry. I wasn't clear. I completely agree.

Well, I'm a straight guy and I've interpreted it as how much self-imposed standards of masculinity screw up the men's lives as well as the women's. But I've probably read too many Jez posts about how patriarchy hurts men too and am seeing it through that filter.
