SeaBass deserves another shot at Indycar. He can still wheel.
SeaBass deserves another shot at Indycar. He can still wheel.
In my neighborhood there is a Morgan 3-wheeler, a Polaris Slingshot, and a Vanderhall running around driven by locals, and I have to admit, I really like the Vanderhall. I know it doesn’t have a manual, and it’s fwd (although in a 3 wheeler this is probably a better setup), but it looks great, is properly quick and…
I must be the only person around that adores this car. It’s beautiful and a HUGE turn around for Maserati as of late. I haven’t lusted after a Maser in decades, and never thought I would again... but here we are.
I know which org I’d trust with my life and it wasn’t the new IRL.
CART was the best of all worlds. Back in the 80s, stock car racing had not yet fully forsaken its name. I liked NASCAR and watched a lot of it, but it was a different animal. F1 was great, but I really like the Indy 500 and F1 had nothing even remotely comparable. With CART, you had these wild experimental cars racing…
Agree 100%.
Its hard for people today to remember the ascendance of CART at the time. There was talk of it challenging F1 on the world stage. The racing was that good. Tony George stuck a knife in their back over his petty greed and then the owners tripped over their dick in hiring Joe Heitzler and fell on the same knife. IRL and…
If it’s like the hybrids I’ve had, it’s basically a difference in the threshold for the gas engine to kick in.
“Remind me: what happens when lithium meets water?"
People think it’s the Prius, but they’re really talking about the trees as it flies off that corner.
I suspect it is off the 7 series platform so that then they don’t have to link the development cycles of the two cars and avoid being stuck in a situation where the RR is *gasp* on a old 7 series platform while the 7 series is on a newer platform, as is the current case. Now it’s with all the other RRs.
I think it’s funny that Rolls’ CEO Torsten whatshisface dissed the Bentayga for sharing a platform with Audi when the Ghost shared platforms with the 7 series. Maybe he had a senior moment?
It’s likely just for the unveiling vehicle. I wouldn’t worry too much about it being on production models unless they do a weird special edition.
No.
The current platform rides on a design from the Daimler Chrysler era that also underpinned the outgoing M-Class. The idea that it’s an old AMC platform is nonsense unless you’re willing to say all platforms are continuations from prior platforms because they use knowledge gained from said prior platforms.
Any brain worth draining would take a look at what 5 year’s salary buys you housing wise in suburban Detroit vs. the Bay Area and laugh at the idea of money being a draw for Silicon Valley.
Finding joy in hurting other people is a core tenant of conservatism, along with selfishness, lack of empathy, general stupidity, hatred, and bigotry.
Fuck Trump and his MAGAssholes. May they find connecting rods poking through their stupid blocks.
I think it helps that FCA’s products are well styled. Everything I can think of off the top of my head is handsome and clean, without relying on flavor of the week gimmicks, fake vents, floating roofs, weird C pillars, running lights that zig zag up to the A pillar, etc.
I’ll tell you: All signs pointed at the time for 2020 to be final model year so I ordered 2020 JGC Trailhawk Hemi and got mine in September last year. It is awesome. As for its off road capability, on the last off road safety clinic in Hollister Hills it went everywhere Wranglers did without any problem, Frame…
