Dear, GMC/Chevy, please make an SUV version of this. Thank you

I’m going to get shouted down, but this is just a company using performance management processes to get rid of low performers. 500 employees out of a population is 0.6%. Not newsworthy at all.

Seriously, what’s up with those anti-EV takes? The Ford F-150 is all aluminum and has been since 2015. The Lightning might use 200 pounds more than the average “car”, but so does every other F-150.

What do you mean “that kind of money”??? This is cheap for a new car today, and has a cheaper starting price than a Ford Escape! I would argue this is a bargain if it is even remotely “luxurious” considering it is Escape money. A BMW x1 starts at $39k so I think you are a little out of touch with what realistic car

The ELR and the Volt to me are the car of the decade. It had enough range for 90% of people to get and forth to work, even more so with 2nd gen volt, but no range anxiety. It seems other mfg are finally catching on to Chevy failed/forced to fail experiement and there is still yet to be a car that tops the Volts range

It’s also arguably among the best-looking Cadillacs of the 21st century.

The Lexus HS.

The ELR wasn’t a bad car. It was just overpriced.

Yes, it is worth it.

Vice President of the California Trucking Association Chris Shimoda says there’s no infrastructure to support electric medium and heavy-duty trucks.”

Twice, really, if you count UHF.

This is from The Verge:

I’m not a fan of the styling, but if that price point is true it will be hard to ignore this car.

Honestly, I think they knocked it out of the park with this one. Must be penance for the GMC Hummer EV.

I wonder what the upgraded versions’ MSRP will be. I was currently looking at an Ioniq 5 SEL (MSRP ~46k) but if these come in at ~10k less for a similar ~300 mile range I would definitely be considering one...if I can wait another year that is.

I would drive on of these all day long with a huge smile on my face. People love to $&#! all over these because Doug Demuro held a tube of toothpaste in a door frame gap and it sharing switchgear with Chrysler. Is it bought mostly by posers? Yes. Is it a bad car? No.

So true, and sad.

...you are harassing and threatening the lives of the very American people you claim to hold so dear.

Oh, damn. Did we just watch your retirement plans blow up?
