It is. I meant in general can't the police legally pick someone up and take them in if there is reported prostitution? I mean it seems kind of stupid to do with no proof regardless since it isn't like they could prove anything just based on that.

So out of curiosity couldn't they have arrested her regardless of her ID? Someone called in that she was engaged in prostitution wouldn't that provide enough of a justification for the cops to arrest her and her husband? I'm not familiar with LA's laws and guidelines for police on prostitution, so I'm kind of curious.
